Request MAC Face Chart Look & Emo EOTD

OK I cannot believe I actually tried to do an EMO/scene look. But after much research, I think they are just wearing a black smoky eye? I mean whats the difference really. Take away the clothes and the hair - and you just have a traditional smoky eye. WELL, whatever!

Another youtube'r asked me to
do the MAC Colour Spill Halloween Face Chart.
Well, lemme tell you its a freak ton of blending!!
I watched another tut with the same Face Chart
and she blended with her fingers. That might
have been easier IDK...

Hauling for Wedding Anniversary! & FOTD

So my DH forgot our wedding anniversary again - and got $100GC to ULTA in exchange. So here is what I got so far!!

I might return the NYX trios because I haven't decided if I really want them yet. It was an impulse buy!

I will get back to you regarding all these products. OH! And BTW - the Japonesque brush retails for almost $38.00 and I paid only $8 for it!! WOOHOO

FOTD today too - I tried something a little different. I saw a face chart on pertilude's blog site from Youtube. And like always use the technique but different colors. SO here is my interpretation of his face chart.

Hope you guys like it too. I used the MAC Royal Assets Warm Palette 07.

2 Halloween Looks & FOTD

OK - still trying out some Halloween looks and want to share them. I did a traditional Vampire look but I didn't have the right props (i.e. fangs and blood) but I think you get the idea. The other look was actually a failure. After trying to get a werewolf look down - I have actually accomplished a LION instead. LOL

I used a whole bunch of random things for the vampire look:

EYES
UDPP
MAC Sharkskin shade stick
Jesse's Girl red loose eyeshadow
CoverGirl Dramatic Eyes quad
Jane gel liner in Black
Rimmel mascara

LIPS
Revlon ColorStay eyeliner in Black
Wet n Wild 514A

And here is the FOTD that I just did. I made a video of the application but it was too late in the day and it turned ORANGE. Lighting is sooo important for videos and pictures to see the true color of things.

Halloween is around the corner!! :D

I love Halloween. Its my favorite holiday!
if you wanna call it that.

I have been working on a few ideas for this coming trick-or-treating session.

My oldest son is 15 and one of his friends wants to be the character Harvey Dent/Two-Face played by Aaron Eckhart in The Dark Knight.

So I figured I would share my first installment of images from our trial run this weekend. After sharing these images with a friend about our dilemma with adding more texture to his face, she shared a great link with me:

Homemade Scars

Its given my some great ideas. So I have decided that we are going to use Elmers Glue to create a 'skin' for him with texture and depth. I will probably put food coloring in the glue itself and then make homemade blood and such. Should be so much fun.

On this look I used the following:
  1. Applied a dark foundation as a base for the eyeshadow to adhere to and use as a barrier from his skin.
  2. I set the foundation with a medium gray eyeshadow from Sally's Beauty supply, but in the end it wasn't dark enough and I used a Revlon Slate Gray eyeshadow instead.
  3. The teeth were drawn on with a L'Oreal HiP Cream liner in black using a Sonia Kashuk bent liner brush from Target. I filled the teeth in with white clown makeup that can be found at any local drug store or Walmart.
  4. The red areas are actually Wet n Wild lipstick and then drawn over with the liner again.
Here comes the crazy part... He is actually considering shaving HALF his head off. YES OMG!!! I suggested getting a cheap wig from the local Halloween store and just removing half the hair off. And then we will just add the glue and texture afterwards. I will keep you posted. :D
